Islamic Teacher Education Program

The educators of Al Iman are given the opportunity to follow and be guided by the guidelines given by  the Islamic Teacher Education Program (IETP) which focuses on encouraging Muslim educators to ponder upon putting vision into practice.

National Association for the Education of Young Children

In line with the Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) implemented in Al Iman Schools, the school is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) where educators are exposed to consistent journals, books, articles on various topics etc. which assist them in their ongoing professional development.

The educators at Al Iman are trained on a weekly basis in a two hour session where they are trained and developed in various areas such as discipline, assessments, class room control and management, behavioral changes in children, art and design, first aid, teacher parent relationship, teacher admin relationships, establishing teacher student connection for further enhancement in their learning styles, update of teaching pedagogies and strategies, usage of technologies in classroom teaching, best practices of an Islamic School teacher, and the educators role in living Islam etc.

More over the educators are given the opportunity to participate in various workshops and programs carried out by external organizations and other educational institutions.
