Trash to Treasure
Recycling can be beautiful. In Trash to Treasure the students get a glimpse of just how much waste a human creates, and they find a variety of creative ways to reuse materials that they would otherwise put in the garbage. They also get an opportunity to enhance their power of imagination, thinking skills and the habit of recycling.
The educators’ aim was to assess each student’s capacity and skills in creativity, arts and crafts, co-ordination, etc.Various types of re-usable items such as boxes, boards, straws, plastics, lids, bottles, etc, were used to create a work of art according to their own choice. Watching students create their masterpieces out of trash was a treat to watch!
